Valencia CF Welcomes the Spanish Gymnastics Federation
The European champions in Acrobatic Gymnastics and the World Cup champions (Bulgaria) in Rhythmic Gymnastics attended the match against Athletic Club.
Valencia CF had the honor of welcoming José Moreno, Juan Daniel Molina, and Violeta Giménez (national coach) — European champions in Acrobatic Gymnastics — along with Marina Cortelles and Lucía Muñoz — winners of the World Cup held in Bulgaria.
“This is a unique opportunity. There’s no better place to enjoy the match and the atmosphere. We’re very grateful. Acrobatic gymnastics, in particular, is a fairly minor sport, and having this kind of recognition from football is fantastic. It’s a great opportunity to give visibility to what we do,” said Violeta Giménez, the Spanish national coach for Acrobatic Gymnastics.
The Club’s General Director, Javier Solís, and Valencia CF legends and ambassadors Miguel Tendillo and Miguel Ángel Bossio, welcomed the Valencian athletes and presented them with a personalized jersey bearing the name of the Royal Spanish Gymnastics Federation.
“We didn’t expect this. The fact that you’re including our sport means a lot to all of us. We’re really happy to be here. It’s incredible. I really love this Valencian atmosphere — you can tell it’s unique and special,” said World Cup champion Lucía Muñoz.
